Group Activities We will have options for the group activities scheduled for Thursday June 16th. Please email your chosen option to eva_lindsey@umanitoba.ca by June 3, 2011. Family members are welcome to join. A. Golf Group Activity at Prairie Lake Lodge Prairie Lake Lodge is a 15 minute drive from the conference site at the Asessippi Resort. The shuttle bus will be taking people out at 12:00 pm. If you do not plan to play please come out to watch! There will be beach volleyball, croquet and bocce ball set up while the golfers play. The golf course will provide a beverage cart for cash. We will play a 9 hole Texas scramble, playing best ball and one hole closest to the PIIN as a bonus. Please click here for more details. Tell us if you plan to play or just come to watch and take advantage of the fresh air and games. If you would like to play, let us know if you are bringing your clubs and if you want to rent a golf cart. Please include details about your skill level. B. Guided Hike to Skinners Arboretum This will be a guided tour and easy hike through Skinners Arboretum and area, a quick drive from the conference site at the Asessippi Resort. Shuttle buses will be available. If you are interested please let us know so we can make arrangements! C. Geo-caching Activity A geo-caching game will be set up at the conference site at the Asessippi Resort. Please email us if you are interested, so we can plan this out. D. Indoor games and activities |
